blessed dci spellbooks

my apologies if this has been asked , i did do a search and came up with nothing .

i have heard of folks getting blessed defence chance spellbooks .

ive seen posts speaking of anywhere between 1 and 11 dci . these also seem to have varying spell damage as well . is there a list of what properties are possible and how does one go about getting these books ? (other than buying them from other players)

i have heard mention the name "event spellbooks" is this the same thing ? and if so is the event over or can you still get them ?

I think it's like 1-10 DCI, never saw an 11.

There was this event with a bunch of red human npcs, tied to factions, and when a town was taken in Fel, the counterpart town in Trammel was then invaded (with a maximum of three trammel towns invaded at any given time).

The red human npcs were broken up by rank, and mage "generals" would drop these books, as well as another kind of book that had MR 3, and some LRC and one other mod I'm forgetting, I think SDI.

As G.v.P. said, these were from an event held in fall-winter 2008. The books are commonly known as "invasion" spellbooks. The top books were dropped by the generals and came in two varieties:

Book Type #1
SDI (max 30)
FCR (max 2)
DCI (max 10)
LMC (max 5)

Book Type #2
SDI (max 30)
MR (max 3)
LRC (max 15)

Only value of the above I am not 100% sure on is the LRC max in book type #2. The books were usually a shade of dark blue or dark brown.

As the invasions are over, these books no longer are available from killing the invading army. The only way to obtain them is to find a player and trade/buy it from them.

Scribes can make spellbooks with mods, but they are weak in comparison to the invasion books and cannot have DCI. The Scrapper's Compendium is the best crafted spellbook, but it requires peerless ingredients and the rare recepie. Oh, and the Scrappers's (SDI 25, FC 1, FCR, 1, LMC 10) doesn't have DCI anyway which was your original question.
